Acrobatic/Dance– This Class focuses on strength, flexibility and control. Students
will do a variety of backbend conditioning, learn Front Limbers, Back Limbers, Front
Walkovers, Back Walkovers, Chin stands, Elbow Stands, Head Stands, Hand stands, a
variety of Acrobatic tricks and skills as well as Ariel Cartwheels and Front Ariel
Pre-ballet– This class is a chance for young dancers to be introduced to the art form of
ballet through fun and engaging movement patterns, interactive music, vocabulary, and
more! The studio will always be a safe, fun, and positive environment for new dancers
to explore, discover, and prosper under an experienced professional guidance!
Ballet- A class organized in the traditional structure of ballet, beginning at barre and
warming up towards center combinations. We will focus on strength, movement
articulation, safe and proper technique, as well as artistry. Students will find grace and
expression as they learn vocabulary, technique, and fulfill their passion for movement!
Students will always be encouraged and taught on an individual and personal level!
Strength and Flexibility- This class will incorporate all forms of cross training that will
aid students in all genres of dance, athletics, and overall well-being and safe training.
Pilates, cardio, resistance training, yoga, progressing ballet technique, strength
conditioning, and deep stretching are just some of the styles that students will practice!
Contemporary and movement- In this class, students will find new and liberating ways
to express themselves through movement. They will learn how to utilize their
foundational skills to turn steps into choreography and true art. Students will find
freedom in expression and become more comfortable and confident with expressing
their true selves through movement!
Jazz – This class will focus on learning proper dance technique such as isolations of the body, improving performance quality and developing complex rhythms and patterns. Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz such as Broadway, Street and Contemporary to help develop a well rounded dancer. Class curriculum is based on ballet technique layered with traditional jazz movement and includes a proper warm-up, stretches, isolations, across-the-floor progressions, and combinations. As students progress through each level curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate.
Drill Team Prep / Jazz Drill -help dancers work on those specific skills and
tricks required to try-out for Drill Team. Jumps, turns, kicks and pom pon
techniques will be included in the class curriculum. Classes will be
designed to help each dancer identify and work on specific techniques and
skills needed to improve their understanding and performance of these
Drill Leaps & Turns – This class is focused on perfecting Leaps and
Hip Hop – is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street
dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students
to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and
personality to the movements. Hip hop dance requires students to have the
strength and stamina to successfully perform moves. Therefore, class
includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a rigorous warm-up
to help prepare students for more intense movements.
Commercial Hip Hop – Encompasses a wide range of modern styles including
Locking, Popping, Krump, Hip Hop and House.
